We’re excited to see how the office develops and where OSF goes next… we’re thinking about painting a mural on our brick wall! On Monday, September 1st, our short film “Guest Room” will go online along with 9 other finalists to compete for $100,000 in the Doorpost Film Project final round.</p> <p>It’s a little tricky to vote, and involves a little of your time… but you get to watch movies… on HOPE!</p> <p>Were about to give you the Cliffs Notes (how we all survived high school English) on the voting process.</p> <p>Here are the rules of the game:<br/><br/>2009 Short Film Contest - <a href="http://www.thedoorpost.com">www.thedoorpost.com</a><br/><br/>Films premiere// August 22 – 31st<br/><br/>Voting begins// September 1 – 16th<br/><br/>1st: <a href="http://www.thedoorpost.com">www.thedoorpost.com</a> // You must have a Doorpost account in order to be registered as a voter. This process is similar to setting up an account an email, Facebook, or Myspace account// name, email, password, birthday, phone, etc. (TheDoorPost.com is a secure site)<br/><br/>2nd: You have to watch 100% of each film to vote for the film. <br/><br/>During the premiere period you can watch the featured film of the day on the website. Your account will keep record of how much of each film you watch every time you log in.<br/><br/>3rd: Vote. <br/>The voting period allows you to vote for each film and make a top 10 countdown for where you would place the film in the contest.</p> <p>If you have already watched the films during the daily premieres, you will be ready to vote on September 1st. You can re-watch the films if you would like but you do not have to.</p> <p>After you have voted on each film, the website will generate a ranking for your videos 1 – 10.
